Thank you for your commitment! Our devs have not succeeded to enable the add-on silently, perhaps we are doing something wrong? We have created a file named “C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\pref\channel-prefs.js” with the following content pref("app.update.channel", "release");

Thank you Marco and Mossroy for your responses, Unfortunately the proposed solutions are not enough for our scenario. The autoconfig- and copy-methods can automatically install the addon, but all the users still need to manually enable them (unless we did something wrong when testing this).
