Hi all, This is a heads up that, since we have a need at our workplace of fvwm on EL6, I'm stepping up to help on this.
The current version (2.6.5) builds and runs fine from my testing. This used to be in EPEL6 but under the older 2.5.30 revision back in 2010. Considering it five years old I consider safe to push the newer version. The main purpose of this mail is for the random person that may have that old revision installed so that there is an archive (and google spider) of this change. If you do still use the older long retired package and update to the new version please check the README in the docs directory (rpm -qld fvwm) for instructions on using fvwm-convert-2.6 to bring your configuration files in line with the new version. As usual this will sit in epel-testing for an appropriate period of time for any it affects and for whom it would be willing to test the package beyond that I've already done.
