to think that anything coming out of that company should be avoided

The issue has nothing to do with RedScat, its galeon that is the issue. Im
not well versed in galeon, you may need to 'enable' java, or javascript in
galeon's config. Im sorry I dont have a step by step example of how to do
that, surely galeon has a help section (might just poke
