Stuff, stuff and more stuff

I just got Mandrake 7.1. Looks great. I like th fact that it actually picked up my Zip drive... I downloaded the newest Star Office suite from Sun via my Cable modem and peaked out at 440 k/sec. All in all, it took like 3 minutes to download the almost 93 Meg file. The fastest I have seen on

ok, I give up! How do I get this machine to change resolutions to the more appropriate one? I have tried to use XF86Setup and DrakConf and although DC will allow me to make the change, it will not test it and the change does not stick. Is there another utility to use or a file to edit so I can

C++ Programmers: Time to Party!!!

Borland is introducing a RAD tool for C, C++ and Delphi programming in Linux. This rocks!!! Finally I can do my bigger project development on my Linux box (I don't hand write gui's!). The package is called 'Kylix'. I am researching it and will post again when I know more. Ron Computer Guru
