I have xmms already - I installed everything except for the servers and the 
development environment. 

I also have kmix but I managed to lose the menu and now it loads but I can't 
find it.

Poor Kmix applet is lost in my black box  ;-(

Gmix said I don't have kernel support for sound - are the Mandrake folks 
paranoid about security leaks or do they just think that nobody uses their 
products on the desktop.

Drakconf I checked on my own before, but it just had a blank grey screen when 
I clicked on sound.
