Eurodiscers, Did you see the WFDF announcement about the Great Grand Master World Championships in Portugal next year (link<http://wfdf.org/news-media/news/press/2-official-communication/787-wfdf-announces-great-grandmasters-division-due-to-the-unprecedented-demand-of-the-2017-wcbu>)? It looks like the UK, Germany, Austria, Sweden, the US, and Canada will be sending a team :) We're still looking into potential teams from France and somebody mentioned Finland, but I'm not sure if that will happen. Nevertheless we will also have a European, and Asian, and Americas Currier island team available for stragglers from countries that will not be represented. For example in Holland, Belgium Spain, Italy, etc. there must be at least a few players that still play even though there 48+. So if you want to play, or know someone who wants to play, let me know as soon as possible. The event is 17-21 June in Portugal. Afterwards some players are making plans to visit the finals of the regular WCBU in France.
This is a great opportunity for all older players to compete and have fun and be a part of this historic first GGM World Championships of Beach Ultimate (WFDF and BULA sanctioned).
