doesn't a moon have to orbit the planet? It seems like Cruithne should be
designated "co-dependent minor planet". :) Also, since
J002E3appears to share earth's orbit, instead of orbiting earth, it should
fall into the "minor planet" category?
uldn't age count when considering the mooness of a body?

Yes, my dictonary says a moon revolves around the planet. Cruithne has the funkiest orbit I've ever seen, and it appears to cross the orbit of venus and mars too? So, my brain resists calling it a moon, and instead a minor planet
If Cruithne's orbit is determine by both the Earth and Luna, it would be more like a Trojan asteroid than a moon.
