Hi,
I couldn't attend but I would like to watch the videos. I would also
happily download via bittorrent, and seed.

Hi,
Well that's mildly annoying.
I have copies of all the recorded talks. Which ones do you want and
I'll put them up at an alternative location.

Sorry Michael, Piotr found out what all the unknows were. Your talk
must have been on one of the recorders that died, gave up, refused to
work or didn't have enough karma. We have ~60 talks out of the 100+

Hi,
With the help of Piotr Kasprzyk we finally have a complete set of

Hi,
It's been a while since the conference, but I have finally put up all
the recorded talks that we have audio for. I've also put links to all
available slides.

Hi,
All the keynotes are now available to download from the wiki

There are some more recordings from other talks up too.
I haven't yet started on the Lightening Talks yet. I will be trying to
get the scheduled talks up first, and then come back to them.
Hi,
A lot of people would probably like to listen to Cory Doctorow's talk.
It is now up on the Recorded Talks wiki page.

For a start you could upload your talk to the wiki, with a sensible name.

Hi,
I'm the "Audio Guy" and yes, I am confident we have a recording of
Cory's talk. Check back at the end of the conference, there will be a
wiki page with as many as we can get. Also keep an eye on the mailing
list.

Hi,
The tech team will be endeavouring to provide as many plugs as we can,
a vague answer but all I can say for certain. We will try and have
some european plug sockets too, but I imagine they will be in short
supply.
I suggest bringing a EU-->UK adapter, as then you'll be more likely to

Hi,
There are bloody loads of canals in Birmingham! The old cliche is
"more canals than Venice" which is true, however we are qutie a bit
bigger than Venice.
The nearest canal is just a short walk from the conference venue, and
it's even closer to some of the hotels on Broad Street.

Hi,
Seems we have some CA Assurers attending the conference too! So this
means that the PGP/GPG keysigning will now be combined with a CA Cert

Hi,
Not unless someone very organised and enthusiastic takes up the mantle now.

they get published is usually hit and miss I'm trying hard this

Hi,
No. I have tried it in the past, and usually the audio is fairly
useless. There is a lot of back and forth between the teacher and
students's, which is hard to hear, or the teacher moves a lot. Also
things like slides and examples are hard to tie up with the audio.
Also some of the people giv

That'll be me. It's very simple, me and my team will be concerned with
the actual recorders, session chairs just need to make sure the mic is
on, and working, and gets turned off at breaks. As simple

Hi,
For general helpers (ie heaving lifting, bag stuffing) what would be
