Offering an alternative to Gas Pedal or accelerator Pedal, I would offer
the simplistic term " GO PEDAL " this term, which I use often, is simple,
but universal enough to use with: ICE, Hybrid, and EV.

Its called the GO pedal?
But, with EV's with strong regen (like the BMW i3) it’s the GO/slow pedal.
But when pronounced, no one wants to think of an EV as being driven with a
"go slow" pedal, so maybe it is a "go/stop" pedal?
