Hi folks
With regards to the KWh constant current speed control I designed one back in
the 90s for Lawson huntleys Bear Skin Technology group that maintained a
constant current basically a fixed throttle position just binarily with hex
code incremented with up down buttons on the shifter. It wasn't very practical
as Lee noted. The EV would slow down going up hill and go fast down hill so
depending on the hill it might almost stop or exceed the speed limit quite a
bit going down. It was named Constant Current Cruise Control or CCCC and later
he renamed Micro Thrust but never sold any.
Now I'm just buying factory EVs. Much nicer and cheaper used than conversions.
Still miss how easy it was to work on my conversion.
Best regards
