Hi folks For a lightweight LiFePo4 lithium battery replacement I’ve had good luck for the last few years with Shorai 36Ah 600CA battery, about $250 “Harley motorcycle” large replacement 12V that starts my Honda BFP60 (60hp) boat motor with no issues. I have two of them in the boat with a A B switch incase one Chinese battery poops out. I couldn’t find a A123 version anywhere for sale, just marketing. I’ve tried the “Dakota” and featherweight brand in my electric lawnmower but the balancing circuit current limits on start and had to bypass and one circuit caught on fire so I removed it and wired the cells directly.
