The included EVSE is only capable of 12 amps, even on 240V, which makes the max charge current around 2.8-2.9kw. still that will charge the VOLT in 1/2 the time as 120V, and from what I can tell it stays at 12 amps instead of falling back to 8 amps (unless you tell it differently) like it does when charging off 120V.
