Hi Bill etc, The LeafSpy I have works great on my 2013 Leaf for reading/resetting codes and seeing individual cell voltages *but* on my Chevy Spark 2015 EV Helm service manual they say to use "a scan tool" with no mention of what's needed to read the CAN bus. They show in the shop manual individual cell voltages from "the scan tool" but no mention of the model number of "the scan tool" or where to get it. Calling various GM/Chevy dealers/service departments was worthless. I asked them how they identify a bad cell without the ability to see one and they just get an error code, then replace the whole pack the service manager said (within the 100K mile/8 year warranty). So is there a good CAN bus reader or "SparkSpy" out there that can decipher the hex codes for the Chevy Spark etc or is each factory EV different and *no* standard like ICE cars OBD-2 readers?

I know it's possible to run the LEAF drivetrain outside the car if you take enough of the car with it, but It would be a lot easier if you could just send CAN commands directly to the inverter. > > Bill > _______________________________________________ Have a renewable energy day, Mark Mark E.
