NEW ORLEANS —Whole Foods Market on Broad Street will host the city's first electric vehicle expo this weekend in New Orleans The supermarket chain will join Solar Alternatives and Nissan Motors for Electric Vehicle Day NOLA 2015, set to begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the store on North Broad and Conti streets. Organizers said the expo will showcase vehicles and exhibitors with the opportunity to learn more about electric vehicles. Owners, manufacturers and area experts will be on hand to answer questions from people in attendance. The expo will feature at least six electric vehicles, demonstration charging systems from ChargePoint and a mobile solar generator system. Whole Foods Broad Street and Whole Foods Market Arabella Station each offer two complimentary electric vehicle charging stations.
