To my knowledge, no one has seriously attempted this yet. There are links in this thread to the people who are trying to do it with the ECU, LBC, etc from a Leaf (basically the whole drive and battery system). But, like you, I'd really rather not have to do this. However, I have a 2012 driving

Has anyone been able to talk to the LEAF inverter directly? I know it's possible to run the LEAF drivetrain outside the car if you take enough of the car with it, but It would be a lot easier if you could just send CAN commands directly to the inverter. Bill
