Electric cars from all over the world will race in the 6th International Nikola Tesla EV Rally Croatia from 12-19 May 2019. 50 teams will drive the 1,500 km route over 8 days, taking in some stunning sights around Croatia, including 6 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, 4 national parks, 3 Game of Thrones filming locations, and the birthplace of Nikola Tesla himself in Smiljan. The route, which has been carefully selected to showcase Croatia as a destination. Starting at the luxury Novi Spa Hotels and Resort in Novi Vinodolski, the rally will be based at Sun Gardens Dubrovnik, before heading north through Cavtat, Ston, Imotski, Šibenik, Krka National Park, Skradin, Smiljan, Plitvice Lakes National Park and finishing in Zagreb. This year the rally will feature a number of international competitors from Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Finland, Norway, Canada and South Africa.
