This is a royal pain; I can't unsubscribe or stop these msgs from coming.
It's worse than spam.

It looks like the sender is now ev-bounce, which is different than
before. Do you have a rule set up to move stuff to the evdl folder
based on sender?

There are special materials used for potting or impregnating
transformers etc. They have higher heat conductivity, good electrical
properties, and don't burn. Get one of them if you can.

Here's a trick that can make potting much less messy. Put the part in a
polyethylene plastic bag. Suck the air out with your vacuum pump, and
the bag tightly conforms to the shape of your part.

Now introduce the potting compound or impregnant into the opposite
corner of the bag. You can just submerge a corner, poke a few holes in
it, and the vacuum will pull the liquid in.

You can watch the liquid's progress as it moves through the part.
Squeegee it around with your fingers if necessary. When done, disconnect
the vacuum pump and sit the bag in a pan to cure. If you used a liquid
that sets without air (like an epoxy), let it cure in the bag (no mess
or waste). When cured, the bag will just peel right off (nothing sticks
to polyethylene).

If it needs air to cure, peel the bag off and sit it in a pan to cure.
In most cases, you'll have to put it in an oven to dry in any reasonable
amount of time due to the deep penetration.

Just FYI, I have my filter setup to look for EVDL in the subject line
and did not have to change anything.

Some of you may want to go with a similar setup.

I'm having same problem here. I had to update the filter on Gmail to remedy
it. The TO: address has changed to [EMAIL PROTECTED] It used to be
[EMAIL PROTECTED] or something like that. I just changed my filter so
that is from memory if I'm incorrect.

Yes, as David said, the list would be moving to Mailman from Listproc. It
has different (better) ways of doing things!

Just update your filters. The easiest way is to look for [EVDL] in the
subject. That's how I'm doing it now.....

Me to. Because until recently this list did not have an common inserted
text in the subject (for example [EVDL]) I had my filter set to look for
the reply to address. However that changed yesterday. However since
the list is now including [EVDL] in the subject, I have modified my
filter to make use of that.

since the topic always contains "[EV" now that might be a possible
trigger for a new filter

ah the joys of an email based forum. if only there was another way...
