[Evangelism] Re: Some World Plone Day suggestions
André, Where can I download the corrected image from? I'd like to update the logo in the WPD twitter account: http://twitter.com/worldploneday Thanks, Emanuel André Nogueira wrote: I have the image with the correct colors. Who has permission to change the image in Plone.org? We created a Google Map of the WPD events around the world. This won't scale, since only a few events are listed in the events listing. I suggest that you create one mega-event with all the locations and local times — and share it among the organizers in the different countries. That way, there will be one prominent listing with all the key locations and dates, instead of 4 arbitrarily chosen locations on the front page. And, if there is time — can the WPD logo be adjusted to the official blue color of the Plone logo? See http://plone.org/foundation/logo for specs. :) Very excited to see everything coming together! -- Alexander Limi · http://limi.net ___ Evangelism mailing list Evangelism@lists.plone.org http://lists.plone.org/mailman/listinfo/evangelism ___ Evangelism mailing list Evangelism@lists.plone.org http://lists.plone.org/mailman/listinfo/evangelism
[Evangelism] Plone vs Drupal Security
There has been a Twitter exchange between David Straus and Alexander that has escalated onto Straus's blog regarding the relative security merits of Drupal and Plone. In my last comment I seem to have hit a nerve because David replied, Does Plone even have a system for reporting vulnerabilities in modular, community-maintained code? While I'm aware of Plone's bug tracking system and security-at-plone.org, I'm not actively involved with security issues as a core developer or an add-on product developer. I thought I'd turn to the community for a reasoned reply to him. Would someone kindly hop over to http://fourkitchens.com/blog/2009/04/03/vulnerability-reports-are-not-indications-weakness and set the record straight?
