What kind of posters did you want to print? You mean, instead of a
banner?

You simply upload an image file and they print and ship the poster
to you.

I agree that if it's less expensive to print several at the same time,
we should print several so we have them on hand and can easily ship
them (more lightweight than vinyl or canvas) in a tube if for example
there are two conferences happening at the same time.

it was just an idea that instead of getting a banner, we could make a
poster. i think you can request printing on a variety of dimensions of
paper. so maybe they would print it in a banner orientation as well.

+110 for print-on-demand

On Tue, Apr 7, 2009 at 2:40 PM, Nate Aune na...@jazkarta.com wrote:

There have been discussions on the Plone marketing committee list and
elsewhere about putting together a conference kit that includes:

 - banner with Plone logo
 - brochures and 15 Questions about Plone FAQ
 - swag (t-shirts, stickers, books)
 - screencasts (to loop on video display)

We have a number of upcoming conferences at which Plone will have a
booth, and it would be great to have a conference kit ready that
explains how to obtain these materials.

 - NTEN - http://nten.org/ntc
 - Internet World
 - CMS - http://www.cmsexpo.net/

Who would like to help put together this conference kit? In
particular, we need to find out whether it makes sense to purchase
some vinyl/canvas banners and ship them around the country, or
 print-on-demand for each conference.

 thanks,
 Nate
