A self-generating "pre-established harmony". Tracing Leibniz's PEH back to the Space Vacuum, ie, back to the he (harmony) of the Dao, hence the dualism of the world.
Leibniz's "pre-established harmony" can be traced back to the Space Vacuum, which is equivalent to the he (harmony) of the Dao, and the dualism (materialists should excuse the word) of the world. The Tao Te Ching tells us more about the world than science ever can. Nobody's ever seen what nothing is. Nor, because of Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle, can we. So science cannot look where we would most like to. The best science can do is the Space Vacuum. The so-called space vacuum has a zero point energy due to the uncertainty principle. One might think of it as a scintillating quantum soup out of which particles suddenly pop out and are reabsobed. This was understood in Taoist philosophy as the Dao, from which yin and yang suddenly emerge, Platonically form concrete entities, and suddenly return. http://www.iep.utm.edu/yinyang/ : "The interaction of these two establishes he (harmony), so it gives birth to concrete things (http://www.iep.utm.edu/yinyang/#H4 Perhaps this is the law of everything yet there is no form being seen.” So we might trace Leibniz's "he" ( harmony) seems to be that same as Leibniz's pre-established harmony -r.
