An aside for Nick Bostrom: I belive we must apply anthropic reasoning not to people - they don't exist objectively - but to thoughts.
An interesting point is that all thoughts about anthropic reasoning include something along the lines of , 'this is a thought about anthropic reasoning'. Why is this very current thought of yours (or observer moment, if you like) a thought about anthropic reasoning? The SSA implies that thoughts about anthropic reasoning make up a high proportion of all the thoughts in the multiverse... James
