some are ok.
I will install 1.4.6 again (thanks for the other answer) to have a more
deep understanding of what happened to my notes. My guess is that it
has something to do with localization.

I was wondering whether evolution has the option to open and read/write Outlook's .pst file since I periodically auto-archive elements to local .pst files fom my exchange server and therefore miss them in evolution. Importing them via the

Ignoring the problem for the moment, why are you building such a very old version? The 1.4.x series was way better than 1.2.x, and the newer, 2.0.x series is better still.
