GW6.5 POA supports IMAP connections directly
is Evo best connected via IMAP to the GWIA or the POA ?

I forgot all about that.. I am used to IMAP on the GWIA :P and Nicel the
POA is a GroupWise Post Office Agent..

The IMAP running at the POA is the same codebase as the IMAP at the
GWIA. So it will likely ABEND in the same manner as the GWIA.
As far as the Evolution/GroupWise integration goes, you will need to run
GroupWise 6.5 for Linux (currently in public BETA http://beta.novell.
com/public.jsp

yes, for calendar it needs GW 6.5 beta 3 for linux. Mail should work
with previous versions AFAIK.
