Before deleting or submitting it, you might try upgrading to the latest
snapshot and seeing if that fixes your problem. We've fixed two rather
common spam-crashers in the past two days, and we'd definitely like to

Without having seen the stack trace, it's impossible to tell, but I'd
hazard a guess you've hit bug 14566, a gnome-print crash that evo
triggers for some reason. We're working on getting a new gnome-print
shipped before new years.

So... snaps no longer die at startup. However, they appear to hang when
using sendmail/postfix and/or when calling the gnome url handler. These
appear to be build machine issues, not code issues. Either way, we're

danw says this should be fixed in CVS; new snaps are being pushed now
that should have the fix. In the meantime, just start evolution-mail in
one terminal, wait a few seconds, and start evolution in the other
window; that should solve the problem until a new snap is out.

Urgh. Sadly, no. But it's been fixed in CVS; the next set you see should
be safe.

Yeah, AFAICS it was just a pretty blessedly quiet weekend on the list :)

P.S. the 7.2 support is out, for those who are interested. It may be a
week or so before snapshots are available, though.

There have been changes in that code lately; if you could screenshot it
so we can see exactly what the problem is it might help clarify what the
problem is.

Yeah, there were so many of these that I more or less started ignoring
them once it became evident what the situation was. If people want to go
back through, find them, and mark them as dups I
Yeah, this is bug 10164. I believe trow and jpr were looking for a
solution, not sure if they've found it yet.

Does bug-buddy give you a stack trace for the crash? If so, could you
attach it? I'm fairly sure it's a known bug, but I'd like to make sure.

That URL has a pretty straightforward guide to getting good stack traces
of an arbitrary evo component.

As usual, we'll be having bug day tomorrow (today for most of you, sorry
about the lateness of the reminder) from 9am-9pm EST.
I want to deviate from the standard 'please help out' message of bugdays
to point out and thank the several steady helpers that I have at every
bug day- heath(!), tom123
Yeah, we noticed that about 1/2 hour before we pushed and decided it
wasn't worth redoing everything for. Hope you guys can survive :)

Actually, I thought I was seeing this too, but I did finally get it to
come up by clicking on it. Does this happen to be a vfolder on a
vfolder?
