Here's my full set of packages which mention evolution in their names:

# rpm -qa | grep evolution
evolution-perl-3.2.2-1.fc16.i686
syncevolution-1.2-2.fc16.i686
evolution-ews-3.2.2-1.fc16.i686
evolution-data-server-devel-3.2.2-2.fc16.i686
syncevolution-devel-1.2-2.fc16.i686
libopensync-plugin-evolution2-0.22-17.fc16.i686
evolution-help-3.2.2-1.fc16.noarch
syncevolution-libs-1.2-2.fc16.i686
evolution-3.2.2-1.fc16.i686
evolution-data-server-3.2.2-2.fc16.i686
evolution-devel-3.2.2-1.fc16.i686
evolution-data-server-doc-3.2.2-2.fc16.noarch
syncevolution-perl-1.2-2.fc16.i686
syncevolution-meego-1.2-2.fc16.i686
evolution-exchange-3.2.1-1.fc16.i686
syncevolution-gtk-1.2-2.fc16.i686

I have never used any older version. Just started trying this recently
after a year or more with Thunderbird/DavMail.

Just about exactly the same version:
evolution-3.2.2-1.fc16.i686
evolution-ews-3.2.2-1.fc16.i686

[Evolution-hackers] How to subscribe to other user's calendars (Evolution 2.32.2, Ubuntu 11.04)

2012-01-11 Thread coverup

In all previous versions of Evolution that I had (up to the version 2.28
included in Ubuntu 10.04), under File, there was an option to subscribe to
other user's calendars. This allowed me to subscribe to shared calendars on
the MS Exchange server. But I don't see this option in Evolution 2.32.2
included in Ubuntu 11.04. How can I subscribe to shared Exchange calendars?

By EDS I meant evolution-data-server; it wasn't a typo. I don't think
I'm running the packaged version of EWS yet (and in fact I'm mostly
using ActiveSync for my company mail at the moment anyway, not EWS).

Do you happen to remember when this started? F16 did have older versions
of evo and eds if you revert to those, does the problem go away?

I'd test this myself, but I'm kind of busy preparing to fly half-way
round the world tomorrow...

I see exactly the same behaviour with the ActiveSync back end; it's been
annoying me recently.

I'm reasonably sure I *didn't* see it in the past. When we first got
this working in EWS I was making changes over IMAP, switching to EWS and
ensuring they appeared, and vice versa. I'd definitely have noticed this
then. I'm fairly sure I'd have noticed it when we got it working in
ActiveSync, too.

So either we changed something in both EWS and ActiveSync back ends
simultaneously (which isn't unlikely; the camel code for ActiveSync is
closely based on EWS and we *have* copied changes over in both
directions), or perhaps something in evolution-data-server changed.

Changed to evo-hackers list... anyone got a clue?

Not sure what version(s) Dave is using; I'm seeing this with Evolution
3.2.2-1.fc16, EDS 3.2.2-2.fc16.
