Hi, you are right, neither the current stable 3.26 nor your ancient 3.18.5 support that, but the bug exists for it. [Evolution-hackers] lookup S/Mime encryption certificates over LDAP
When trying to lookup userCertificate attributes from a LDAP server, Evolution still pops up an error message that the public keys could not be found. Checking the archives there have been several discussion on this topic, but so far it seems that this bug has not been solved. Is there a plan for fixing this issue?
