I recommend moving to WebKit/GTK+ instead. It has excellent API

Is this documentation available under devhelp, and if so, which package do I
need to install in order to see it ? (My devhelp provides me all my gtk
documentation, but it can't locate any webkitgtk help. :-( )

[Evolution-hackers] libgtkhtml3 question

2011-09-01 Thread Gregory Hosler

Hi all,

I'm looking for some documentation on libgtkhtml3

I have an application that uses libgtkhtml2 and I need to upgrade it to use
libgtkhtml3

I'm using Fedora, and the README in the devel package pointed me to this list
and to the evolution website. I looked around

http://projects.gnome.org/evolution/

quite a bit, but could not find any documentation that described the libgtkhtml
api (for either 2 or 3).

Any pointers/urls to devhelp or any other documentation would be greatly
appreciated.

any pointers to any documentation relating to upgrading from libgtkhtml2 to 3
would also be appreciated (if such is available).

Many thanks, and all the best,

- -Greg

ok, thanks.

as a related query, I note that (in Fedora F15 repository) there is both a
webkitgtk and also webkitgtk3

What's the difference ?

I'm just guessing that webkitgtk3 if your application uses gtk3 and webkitgtk
otherwise. I am further guessing/hoping that the webkitgtk/webkitgtk3 api's are
identical, so moving from one to the other is just a matter of changing teh
includes/links.

Can anyone confirm this please?

Thank you, and all the best,
