Re: [Evolution-hackers] Visual indication of online/offline?

2006-12-06 Thread Serjan Pruis a.k.a. Smartuser
Hi Jules,

I'll think it is a great idea to blink the text, and/or place an icon.
Popup errors are disturbing as you said.

Good luck!

 Hi,

Is there any way to signal a visual indication that a specific
CamelStore is offline? I'm thinking that making the account blink in
bright red or maybe just a little store specific offline icon next to
the account in the side bar would be much better than a CamelException.

An exception is presented as an error to the user in a popup window. I
would rather like to gently show a warning to the user. A popup is
 really disturbing...

 Thanks,

[Evolution-hackers] Found the images from go-evolution site.

2006-08-17 Thread Smartuser
Hi,

I think i've found the images.
In an old digest,
for anyone who wants to know it is [Evolution-hackers Digest, Vol 8, Issue 20]

Jules posted the link
http://www.omesc.com/content/downloads/go-evolution.org.tar.gz
that one still exists.
And the tar.gz file does contain the images.

Thanks Jules!

2006-08-16 Thread Smartuser
Does someone have the images

Eds-arch-addressbook.png
Evolution Architecture Shell.png

And maybe more images that seem missing from the go-evolution.org site?

My previous post has a bit strange title.
So maybe this is more like it.
The question is still the same.

Does someone have the images

Evolution Architecture Shell.png

And maybe more images that seem missing from the go-evolution.org site?

Thanks in advance

[Evolution-hackers] Help needed with CamelFolderInfo to CamelFolder

2006-08-15 Thread Smartuser
Hello,

I've to add a new message to a folder, but the only things i have are
CamelStore and the CamelFolderInfo of the folder.
With test-full_name for example i can get the folder name.

That looks oke to me.
I also look it op in my priv-id_hash. So the folder exists.

But now there already is a CamelFolder with a summary
and i like to add a new message to it. Is that possible?
Or how can i convert CamelFolderInfo to a CamelFolder?

Thank you in advance.

Kind Regards

[Evolution-hackers] How to change the accountname?

2006-08-14 Thread Smartuser
Hello,

I've seen it is possible to change the account name as a user.
But is it possible to create an accountname from the camel-provider?
or at least do the user a proposal for it? (auto fill in)

Any help would be appreciated.

Kind regards,

No, there aren't any hooks that camel can use to do that.

[Evolution-hackers] no-inst headers camel-private.h?

2006-07-19 Thread Smartuser
Hi,

I've some question about the camel-private.h
Why is it a no-inst header according to the Makefile.am?
As far as i know almost every provider depends on it.
Is there a reason or is it just a mistake?

camel/providers like for example: groupwise uses CAMEL_SERVICE_LOCK which is
declared in the camel-private.h file. So it doesn't seem private to me.

As the name suggests, I am led to believe that it is a private header
 and intentionally not installable.
The mistake could actually be that the providers include this directly.

[Evolution-hackers] Message remove how-to?

2006-07-10 Thread Smartuser
Hello,

I have managed to get a list of messages into a folder.
Now when I delete a message I set a deleted flag.
But the message still remains in place until I go to another folder and
return, becouse the full list is then reloaded.
Now the question is: How do I remove a message from the list and renew the
list.

Thank's in advance.
If my question isn't clear please ask some more information.
