It's me again. I installed all dependencies listed on the page. But I
keep facing the issue:
[ 77%] Generating camel-1.2.vapi
error: Package `GObject-2.0' not found in specified Vala API directories
or GObject-Introspection GIR directories
error: Package `Gio-2.0' not found in specified Vala API directories or
GObject-Introspection GIR directories
error: Package `libxml2-2.0' not found in specified Vala API directories
or GObject-Introspection GIR directories
I found on the Internet that updating version of Vala could help. I use
Ubuntu 20.04. Vala installed from package manager had version 0.48. I
installed Vala from source:
/usr/local/share/vala-0.56 valac --version
Vala 0.54.1.85-88801
/usr/local/share/vala-0.56 whereis valac
valac: /usr/local/bin/valac /usr/share/man/man1/valac.1.gz
/usr/local/share/vala-0.56 ls -la /usr/local/bin/valac
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 10 Nov 10 20:59 /usr/local/bin/valac ->
valac-0.56
And the message from make is:
