the 2.24 tar package and svn trunk, I can still find the COPYING file which says that it is GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE v2. But from NEWS, it says Evolution source code license changed to LGPLv2 LGPLV3 (Sankar P). Sankar, I'm curious about whether evolution still contains GPLv2 code

If all you need is just a non-deleting draft, you can use Edit as new message. I have felt that this shouldn't be restricted to Sent-items alone as we allow configurable sent-folders. IIRC, there is a bug for this as well. Srini: Shall we make this available on all folders ? -- Sankar
