Makes sense, would be good to get this over with. I'll see if I can
track down a few of the more obvious bugs I'm seeing before Wednesday.

Hi,
what about wait till Wednesday, after evolution team meeting, and then
merge gtk3 branches to master branches, and require gtk3 for the Monday
2.91.6 release? It saves a bit of work for you, and also forces people
to fix new issues related to gtk3, both during Thursday and Friday, and
also benefit from more testers with 2.91.6 release.

This might be doable, especially because:

which can be fixed till the meeting.

Would anyone mind if I do another round of gtk3 rebases?

Benjamin Otte fixed most of the gnome-canvas issues, and I've been
rebasing and reorganizing commits on my gtk3 branches almost daily.

What I'm running right now are my private gtk3 branches rebased against
today's master branches and linked against stock platform libraries from
Fedora 15 ("Rawhide") and it's quite usable. A few minor glitches left
but canvas widgets now draw and scroll correctly, and I'm seeing a few
but not an enormous number of runtime warnings on the terminal.

I'd like to rebase again so we're all on the same page. I'll plan to do
it Monday unless someone objects.

The gtk3 branches are rebased now. Delete your local copy.

Looks like the most serious issue is the canvas-based widgets. My guess
is something's busted in one of gnome-canvas's draw() methods. I'll see
if I can figure it out, again.
