[Evolution] auto-delete ignored threads
Is there a way to have ignored threads automatically deleted, instead of just marked with italics? -- Sent from: http://gnome-evolution-general.1774414.n4.nabble.com/ ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
[Evolution] undelete tasks
in the task window on the left hand side there are two columns, the first showing a clipboard icon, the second showing a square. When clicking the square the task is obviously deleted without any warning or confirmation. Is there a way of undeleting it? -- Sent from: http://gnome-evolution-general.1774414.n4.nabble.com/ ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list

Hi, the information that the thread is ignored is stored on the messages in that thread (you can ignore only subthread of a thread too). Deleting the message would mean to lost the information about the thread to be ignored. Thus no, it's not possible to auto-delete messages in an ignored thread. Whether you see such depends on Edit->Preferences->Calendar and Tasks->Tasks tab->[x] Hide completed tasks after option. You can also expand the Show combo box (just above the list of tasks) and pick "Completed tasks" to show the completed tasks only temporarily. Do not forget to change it back to "Any Category", thus you see all the incomplete tasks again.
