Disabling and enabling it via Ctrl+M does not help. Restarting Evolution helps. Haven't found any pattern; also has happened with local mail on non-remote (POP) mail accounts. No high CPU usage. Wayland; mesa drivers, Fedora 35. It seems unlikely to me that KDE depends on WebKit*GTK* (emphasis on
GTK), as it uses the QT toolkit and not the GTK toolkit.
The packagers of your distribution should know best.
