The problem is that sometimes filters are not applied, so I'm used to run CTRL+A - CTRL + Y on my Inbox, so I need to explicitly exclude Inbox from the filter. Unfortunately I can't find this condition in EVO 3.12.9. Do you think it's possible > to whitelist/blacklist some folder for filter execution? As Milan said there is a condition to select a specific folder. But it's not an issue, unless you don't look at your mail for more than n days - the filters only apply to new messages, the messages you are trying to get rid of are not 'new' and the 'new' messages will be less than n days old. (Ctrl-Y doesn't trigger a filter run globally across everything.) > > > The problem with filters is that they only apply to 'new' messages so > > you would have to apply the filter manually. > > That's not a problem, CTRL + Y is a quick way to do it. I thought Ctrl-Y only applies filters to the current message (that's why it's in the 'Message' menu not the 'Folder' menu or anywhere else). You would need to do Ctrl-A, Ctrl-Y to select all messages in the folder then apply filters. Hi, there's a condition named "Message Location", which is there for this purpose. Only make sure you've set the "Find items which match" properly (when it's "all of the following conditions" then you cannot use multiple folders there). Alternatively create a search folder with the same conditions and selected folders only, then you can enter it from time to time and delete messages from there (Ctrl+A followed by Delete key press when in that folder). I can confirm that's not present in 3.12.9. Unlikely I can't upgrade it, since it will require to also upgrade Gnome and Debian. -- g4b0, linux user n. 369000 http://brosulo.net ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list

The problem with filters is that they only apply to 'new' messages so you would have to apply the filter manually. In newer versions under folder properties (right click on folder, select properties), there is an "AutoArchive" tab which does what you want, but I'm fairly certain it doesn't exist in 3.12 P. ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
