If you're looking for more recent packaged versions for your
distribution, please ask the packagers of your distribution in a
support forum for your distribution.

Thanks a lot!

I'm under linux Mint 17, and my version of evolution is up to date for
this distro or the distro doesn't not compile any package more for
evolution
Is there a place where to download and install a more recent version for
evolution ?
I 'm not able to compile from sources, I need a package
Thx

I was just going by a back-of-the-envelope estimate of (26-10)/2.

4 years old by now (stable even release every six months) but indeed.

3.10 is ancient. And Yahoo is horrible.

[Please don't top-post]

We tend to assume you're using Linux (perhaps BSD also supports Evo but
I'm not sure). In any case, if you mention the specific distro someone
might be able to suggest how you can update it. IIRC 3.10.x must be
about 8 years old by now (the current series is 3.26.x).

Thx,

My version is 3.10.4 under Linux
I don't have this option anywhere to limit the number of connections to
server

Please, always say what version of Evolution you are using.

Yahoo :-(

Yahoo is known to not play nicely with everything. I seem to remember
the underlying issue is that they are very aggressive at throttling
connections they perceive as using too many resources. I think you
might see an improvement if you only use 1 connection per account. So
go to Edit -> Preferences -> Mail Account -> [select account] -> Edit
-> Receiving Options and reduce the "Number of concurrent connections"
to 1.
