I would like to get to an RC state next week if possible. Also adding Paul from
the IWG as I think he has an
interest as well to help support upcoming interop events.

Subject: OFED-3.18-2 RC1 readiness - April 18th release?

Here is the latest status for 3.18-2.

Fixed and included in latest:
http://downloads.openfabrics.org/OFED/ofed-3.18-2-daily/OFED-3.18-2-20160413-2351.tgz
        2588 - compat-rdma build failure on RH 7.2 - FIXED
        2590 - daily build 20160317-0544 failing to build/install on 7.2 - FIXED
        2591 - ibacm configure fails - FIXED

Waiting to be pulled into 3.18-2
2592 - libfabric build breaks on PPC - FIXED in libfabric 1.3.0 release.
2593 - Xeon Phi: dtest with the mic0:ib provider fails with an
rdma_bind error
2594 - Xeon Phi: ibv_ud_pingpong fails for sizes over 4012 bytes
        New dapl-2.1.9 package release

Other major bugs (not considered blocking for RC1)
2580 - NFSoRDMA client on PPC will crash mounting to X86 server -
likely to defer until 4.x
        2583 - iwpm_mapping_error_cb: rcv msg seq - deferring until 4.x

I recommend releasing RC1 after Vlad pulls in bug fixes for 2593/2594 and new
packages (libfabric-1.3.0, dapl-2.1.9).

Maybe target Monday, April 18th for RC1? What does everyone think?

Regards,

Arlin
