Siebel Technical Architect Duration: 12+ months Location: Columbus, IN *Key Responsibilities* Role Specific Activities: • Work closely with our GPV and Cummins *technical* experts in developing a strong and sustainable *Siebel* environment architecture • Establish a working relationship with Cummins business customers, functional excellence leaders, and Cummins shared service providers • Stay abreast of emerging *Siebel* *technical* and functional solutions and provide input to the*Siebel* Practice Foundation • Provide *Siebel* *Technical* Design features & ensure CMI commonality across instances until CMI moves to a single instance • Provide *technical* design support, sizing, availability guidance, failover strategies and disaster recovery procedures to all *Siebel* Projects • Assists with *Siebel* Practice Foundation’s *technical* Roadmap & Single Instance Strategy • Capture best environment layouts from User Groups and Vendor CAB’s and provide input on CMI future *technical* requirements • Work within the *Siebel* Practice Foundation guidelines when designing *technical* environments to provide CMI with an insight into the future • Provide *technical* expertise for All *Siebel* instances and projects to all Business Units globally • Understand the *technical* integration of *Siebel* applications and modules to other applications • Support the *Siebel* Practice Foundation Standards, Common Solutions, and Continuous Improvement • Resolve *technical* design gaps that involve multiple organizations and functions globally and regionally • Support the implementation readiness review process from a *technical* viewpoint • Participate in Oracle Application User Group (OAUG in reference to * Siebel*) conferences and SIGs (special interest group) • Communicate new *technical* capabilities and also the *technical* shortcomings within the*Siebel* suite of products • Technically design, tune and *Architect* the environment for the * Siebel* Demo Solution.
