the fact that the cell you're referring to is a function is irrelevant. it should still work. Let's say that you have:  A  B  1 Jan  2 Feb  3 Mar  4 Apr  5 May  6 Jun  7 Jul  8 Aug  9 Sep 10 Oct 11 Nov 12 Dec and you want to find the month name of the current month (I know, there's other ways of d
