If you have imported pics in excel file then name of file is stored
in .AlternativeText field.
so instead of .Name use .AlternativeText this will solve purpose.
So new code is for images imported to excel file:
Sub GetShapeNames()
Dim shp As Shape
Dim i As Long
i = 1
For Each shp In
Check this.. Your second requirement..
