*Job Description:*

*Note – **Expert level Jmeter(5+ yrs) is required and shell script is a big
plus*

*Mandatory Skills** - Jmeter, Performance Testing, load testing and stress
testing, Linux, Networking, Python, Eventual Consistency.*

*Role & Responsibility - *

*As a Performance Engineer, you must be an expert with all the aspects of
load and stress testing. You should have good grasp and understanding on
CI/CD pipeline and deployment in Agile DevOps environments. You will be
playing a key role in defining and setting up framework and standards for
System Reliability, Load and Performance Testing. Should have done good
volume of load running. *

*Primary Skills –*

*·         **Understand application performance requirements and do
workload modelling*

*·         **Performance and load test automation of distributed
applications.*

*·         **Performance testing of REST based APIs.*

*·         **Experience in designing and debugging tests that measure
performance and functionality under scale and load.*

*·         **Expertise in performance testing tools like JMeter*

*·         **Ability to do root cause analysis and provide feedback to
improve code quality.*

*·         **Monitor application performance metrics and help in
pinpointing performance bottlenecks.*

*·         **Analyse test results and coordinate with development teams for
bug fixes.*

*·         **Working knowledge of shell scripting and Linux/Unix.*

*·         **Experience in working with one or more cloud platform like AWS
/ Azure / GCP*

*·         **Meticulous in attention to detail and good judgment with a
keen eye for testability, robustness and Performance*

*·         **Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both
technical and non-technical audiences.*

*·         **Test Driven Development (TDD) mindset and orientation of 100%
test automation*

*Secondary skills –*

*·         **Experience with large data centre and bare metal machines*

*·         **Familiarity with continuous integration products like Jenkins*

*·         **TCP/IP, networking knowledge and troubleshooting a plus*

*·         **Experience with relational databases or NoSQL.*

*Soft skills/competencies –*

*·         **Problem solving mind and attitude*

*·         **Effective communication skills – written, spoken, listening
and presentation *

*·         **Great Team player and experience working with global teams and
global organizations*

*·         **Genuine interest in learning and knowledge sharing*

*Educational/professional qualification required – *

*•       Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent. Preferably Master
degree in computer science.*
