Position: IBM Pure Data System for Analytics DBA or Netezza / MAKO DBA

Location: Richmond, VA

Rate: $70/hr on C2C


*Description:*

Primary Skill: IBM Pure Data System for Analytics or Netezza / MAKO
Database Administration (DBA)

Secondary Skill: Database Administration of Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle
databases

   - Expert knowledge of Netezza appliance systems
   - Experience with Netezza Mako appliances
   - At least 5+ years of experience in Netezza database administration
   - At least 4+ years of scripting experience
   - Extensive work in SQL programming and Performance Tuning experience
   - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving
   skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
   - Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
   - Multi-tasking and organization skill.
   - Experience in SDLC and Change Management process.
   - Experience with version 7.2 and later
   - Hands-on with Netezza Replication 1.6 or later is preferable

Experience in working with AGILE methodology is an added advantage
