V&V Engineer
Southfield, MI

Responsibilities:
 Reads, analyzes and interprets system requirements, data sheets and hardware 
specification for verification and validation plan.
 Capture, analyze, develop, debug, modify, enhance and implement new methods 
of validation to improve quality and productivity of validation.
 Work for dSPACE hardware-in-loop testing tools/technologies and adapt/update 
them for every stage of testing from software architect to system level 
verification (documenting the necessary processes for the rollout and use of 
the improvement actions).
 Identify, analyze and address the risk along with mitigation and contingency 
plan across function group i.e. suppliers, customer, application (users) and 
validation team at different geographical locations throughout the software 
development process.
 Interact with project and supplier teams to gather QA (questions and answers) 
and clarifications on conflicting/implicit requirements and take corrective 
action.
 Actively participate in software design/validation, workshops, project 
planning, and trainings.
 Diagnose root cause and implement corrective actions for vehicle, quality or 
plant issues found through product development by following best practices like 
FTA, FMEA and so on.
 Explores new technologies for upcoming projects to improve verification and 
validation to meet customer deadlines by building quick prototypes.
 Mentors and provides guidance to other team members as necessary.
 Track and bring closure to the tasks assigned in issue tracking system as 
necessary.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
 B.S. in Computer Science or B.S in Computer Engineering from an accredited 
university.
 Knowledge of embedded automotive domain and good system knowledge.
 Verification and Validation experience in automotive instrument and cluster 
technology (system testing).
 Required to work with embedded systems development and testing 
tools/technologies, including MOST, CAN, MOCCA, CANoe, dSPACE control desk, 
real-time testing, hardware in loop module/system testing, cognex camera vision 
system, winInspection, diagnostics.
 Experience on working with requirements and version management tools (like 
MKS, DOORS, PVCS, SVN, JIRA, Trackweb etc.).
 Experience on working with CAN and diagnostics.
 Hands-on experience using debugger, emulators and compilers.
 Good understanding and experience of testing concepts.
 Experience range 6 to 8 years.
 Good communication skills is must, onsite offshore coordination with 
technical skills.

 Preferred domain can be clusters/infotainment/HVAC/body/powertrain.
