Ravinder,

Thanks for help, I did all your suggested steps I've created the Add in.
I've copied that file to following path. I hope I'm correct.

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\XLSTART

But still I can't see the same in add-in. Attached is copy of My Menu My new
Add in file. Kindly try both. If I just double click My menu that gets
automatically added into the above folder. Same way I would like to do for new
add in.

Pl help.

With Regards,
Suyog

Subject: $$Excel-Macros$$ How to share Code/Macro ?

Hello All,

Kindly refer attached file, I've created macro but I want to share this macro
to other users. Following are my difficulties.

1. How can I secure the code ? Kindly add password 12345 for this file.
2. To run the code I need to keep this file open but which I don't want normal
user to do ? This macro should run automatically on any pc.
3. Can I add Any additional button which would be appear along with the
exiting toolbar of excel ? so that normal use will only click that button
without headache ?

Kindly advice me.

With Regards,
Suyog

 Hi All,

I need to count the non-blank cell from the latest month (Cell M1 -- Feb
2014) to last blank cell and ignoring rest of the previous values.

countblank or CountA formula is not working as they are counting all the
 cells in the range.

For example 1: If I need to update cell N2 the value should be 2, as
there are 2 non-blank cells from the Feb 2014 (Feb 14 and Jan 14) and
ignoring rest of the prior values in the range (B2 : M2)

For example 2. If I need to update cell N3 the value should be 5, as
there are 5 non-blank cells from the Feb 2014 (Feb 14 to Oct 13) and
ignoring rest of the prior values in the range (b3 : M3)

Please let me know the solution.

Hi,

I am using Excel 2007 and have Gmail as my primary email account.

I have a dynamic spreadsheet that monitors different stock prices that is

I would like to have a small macro created so that when a certain cell is
either = to a certain price, will automatically send me an email to my
Gmail account with the message to be defined later.

Anyone ?

Thanks in advance ?

RE: $$Excel-Macros$$ Macro needed to add worksheet

2013-09-11 Thread Ravi Kumar
No dear,

Point 1)

Workbooks(primewb).Sheets(sample).Range(A4:c22).Copy
Destination:=Workbooks(Mid(fil.Name, 1, _

WorksheetFunction.Find(., fil.Name) -
1)).Sheets(Sheets.Count).Range(A1)

Point 2)

Workbooks(primewb).Sheets(sample).Range(A4:c22).Copy
Destination:=Workbooks(Mid(fil.Name, 1,  WorksheetFunction.Find(.,
fil.Name) - 1)).Sheets(Sheets.Count).Range(A1)

Above code is like in single line you can say. When we use _ it will
continue our current line with next new line. You can see above number 1 and
2 point both are same

Subject: $$Excel-Macros$$ Activate Particular Window

I'm in the process of upgrading / rewriting a business application in Excel
that I started years ago.

It's shared on our network and people with Versions 8 through 15 are using
it (now you get an

idea of my headache).

One issue (actually quite a number but just this one for now) and it seems
to be version 15 only.

I have a userform.

When it opens, 3 other workbooks open, it gets data from them and displays
it on the userform.

I leave those files open so that they don't have to be reopened if the user
changes search criteria

until the userform is closed (and the 3 files close)

In version 15, when it's done loading, I'm stuck looking at the last Excel
file opened and not my UserForm

on the initial workbook??

I've already tried a number of different options without any success.
Versions 8 thru 14 work fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

John

I want to create a excel file with Date limit.

Like in a file there are some contents(Graphs, Dashboards Etc) with 3
sheets.

What i wants is after a time period like 31-Aug13 it gets expired and no one
can open it or if someone opens after 31-Aug-13 it will delete all the file
contents and automatically saves without confirmation.

Dear Experts,

Thank you for your quick replies.

Sorry, if my question was not clear.

What I wanted to find is the last row within the range A37:A115 of the
first workbook.

Again, thank you.

Since the number of rows to be copied from the second workbook vary daily,
the next empty row in range A37:A115 of the first workbook changes too.
How do i determine or code the next empty row where the data from the third
workbook have to be copied and pasted?

Thank you in advance for your help.

I have a series of Numbers where there might be less than 15 digits i.e.
custom format is used as 00 (14 instead of 15 or 16 instead
of 15). So, I need to identify these numbers which are wrongly custom
formatted. For better understanding, please check the attached file.
