In all but one of your examples, the number you want to extract appears
right after the text "_POV_" for which you can use the following formula -
=MID(A1,FIND("_POV_",A1)+5,1)
It will extract ONE character AFTER the text _POV_

Dear Amar,
To me this seems to a wordart object, you can re-create it and try to make
as similar as possible or change it all the way to your likings.
Please see a sample attached. Under the Format tab, you can change it as
you may like, including the text.

Look at the second name "Carme" in your sheet.
Your formula is picking up the first 02 digits of the DOB and taking them
as 'month' and there is no 16th month in the calender.
You either need to change your formula or the dates themselves.

Do you already have the list of unique ids or you want to create it?
As for the counting part, there are more than one ways to achieve this -
based on type of data and how it is stored.
For better understanding, a sample workbook with what you have and what you

You can simply deduct the times - like (in F2):
=E2-D2
You can then set the format of the result to as "[hh]:mm" - without quotes
and drag / copy as required.
PS: Have a look at your values showing as "0:00" - some of them might need
to be changed to 12 PM so as to give correct results.
HTH
Assuming that your values are stored in column A from cell 1 to 50, you
could use this formula in cell B1 and drag it down -
=RANK(A1,$A$1:$A$50)

Just one correction, if I may:
Countif(A1:A100,"(IRE)") would only count the cells having exact text as
"(IRE)" not those which *contain* "(IRE)". For that you would have to put
an asterisk before and after the look up text so as to do wild card search.
Here is what your formula would be:

Does it have to be Excel VBA?
I am sure there are many FTP clients that support automated and scheduled
transfers (upload or download). If you want that I can look into some.

Just to help me understand: Why do you want to reflect the value in tooltip
when it is already visible in the Cell itself? Do you mean Cell Address
instead of Cell Value?
Example -
Cell Value is Rupesh
Cell Address is E2
What do you want to appear in the tool tip?
On Fri, Mar 7, 2014 at
In B2 -
=RIGHT(A2,6)
and drag down.
