Please Help,
I am receiving duplicate emails when receiving mail internally but only
when certain users send it, I have no rules set up and I have only one
email address, I have checked all I can think of.
Many thanks.

Hello All,
I have a W2k box with Exchange 2000 SP2.
I have a user who is getting duplicate messages from 1 specific person.
This person says she is able to send email to other people and they are
not getting duplicates. I really think that there is a problem on their
side, but I will investigate
My money says yes and they have the SMTP Fixup Enabled

honest. I have no idea what SMTP Fixup even is. Ya gotta learn somewhere.

Are you sure it's not an inbox assistant rule creating a copy?

We turned it off but she is still getting
I feel your pain. We are using SMTP relay and I've had several of our users
complaining of getting duplicate messages from particular people and vice
versa. I've scanned our Exchange servers for viruses and they came up clean.
We're using Antigen for our Exchange antivirus. Don't know
(5.5 sp4//2k sp2 mixed environment)
User (J. Doe) sends an e-mail 06/10 at 5:25pm to public folder (folder).
Upon opening the folder, there are 4500 copies of the message, all with same
time stamp. Only one copy in J. Doe's sent items.
Went to check message tracking logs - the log is corrupt
Does this happen *every* time this particular user sends to that folder?
Are there any rules or agents running on the PF?

*argh* If your message to the list doesn't show up right away, wait. It'll
get here eventually. If it's a question you need an immediate answer to,
call PSS instead of posting the same message for the 7th time.

Hi Everyone,
I'm having an odd thing happen. Posts to one of our public folders will

half a dozen duplicates on one day then no duplicates for several days.
This doesn't look like any sort of user error. I haven't found
