In the GUI, select \microsoft exchange server\servername\microsoft
information store.  If you have multiple storage groups, just back up
the first one and you'll get the public folders unless you've created
additional public folder stores in the other storage groups.  If you
only want to backup public folders, move all the private mailbox stores
out of the first storage group.  Backup the system state & whatever
files you like, too, if you so desire.  Just stay away from the exchsrvr
directories, logfile directories, and M: drive.

I'm currently running Exchange 2000 on a Windows 2000 server.  I'd like
to make a backup of the exchange server.  In fact, I'd like to have only
the public folders.  How should I do it? Which file should I backup?
Note that the only backup tool that I have is NT Backup (that comes with
Windows 2000)...
