Okay.. Let me preface by saying that I realize that this sounds very stupid
and convoluted but I'm not the one calling the shots.
Right now, we have a NT4 single-master domain (multiple resource domains)
model with Exchange5.5. A request has come up to look at the feasability of

Hello,
A while back, another Siemens employee from one of the other operating
companies emailed me.. I was wondering if I could get back in touch with him
(or any other Siemens Employee that works with email)

Are you saying that on the same email, sometimes the URL will work and
sometimes they won't? Or are saying that on different emails, some work and
some don't?
If they are on different emails, it will depend on who sent the email and in
what format they wrote the email in. It is possible to write
editor
(shudder) and make the text a hyperlink through word. Or if they are
creating messages as HTML.

There is a utility in the office resource kit that will let you create a
customized transform file for the office MSI package. Using this tool, you
can create an unattended install. Modify the setup.ini file (if the tool
does not do it for you) to launch the setup.exe with the transform file.
And even if you don't run with them, don't stick scissors into electrical
sockets(1).

It shouldn't matter where you run your dns query from. In some cases of
split-DNS scenarios (if you don't have your internal DNS forward to you
external), you can still run nslookup from a workstation, you will just need
to specify the address of you external DNS server so that will be where
