Anyone seen this ADC error before?

Event Type: Warning

The homeMTA attribute is not present on the import object CN=John
Devoe,CN=Users,DC=kii,DC=kimball,DC=com. This can happen when ADC does not
have permissions to see all links. Please ensure that the ADC has Read
permissions to the all of the source directory, including the Microsoft
Exchange Configuration Container. (Connection Agreement 'Recipients' #1972)

I get this error (and a matching error about homeMDB) for a couple of
hundred users out of about 4000. I do not believe it to be a permissions
problem as the event log messsage seems to indicate. I have configured the
CA to run as various administrative users with the same result. I can use
the LDAP utility in the win2k server tools (binding as the user set up in
the CA) and see the homeMTA and homeMDB attributes for the affected users.

If I use the E55 admin tool to move an affected user's mailbox from one E55
server to another, the change does not get replicated to AD. Any other
changes in either E55 or AD get replicated. Moving any other user's mailbox
gets propagated to AD.

One odd thing I have noticed is that for the affected users, if I right
click on their objects in ADUC, and select "Exchange Tasks", I get the
option to move or delete their mailbox. I do not get that option for other
users.

The ADC is running on an AD DC. The connection agreements connect to an AD
GC. These errors occur with win2k and E2K (ADC) SP2 and SP3.

I do not yet have any E2K servers set up.

The really annoying thing is that I seem to remember seeing something about
this somewhere, but I can't remember where...
