You can deny "Folder Visible" permissions on the first level (root) folders to those you do not want to see them.

The problem we are having is that the globally available public folders for our staff are now also visilble to these new customers. I have tried creating a group and then via system manager adding this group to the security tab of properties of 'Public Folders' and setting to deny all, this didn't work. On each created public folder via system manager I have selected properties/permissions and then added the group to Directory rights and set deny all, this also didn't work. I don't want to have to go and setup individual client permissions as this will be very time consuming, so does anyone know how to deny access to Public Folders to a group of users.
