Have you looked in your Sent Items? Your calendar? Journal? Contacts? They add up fairly quickly. And every attachment is an item. I haven't a clue as to what's on your D: drive. Can you tell me? Missy, I have just dumped several MB of info from my Mailbox Resource list by deleting emails that had attachments. But a question that I must ask is, when does this disk space return back to our physical hard drive? But, as Missy has said, don't think that you have to defrag your database unless you're running out of space. Exchange will reuse unused space before enlarging the database file.
